Two posts in one day!
I fell in love with this little guy as soon as I saw him. He was an incredibly patient little soul and slept really, really well for us - even despite being sniffed by a cold, wet doggy nose! A tremendous thank you to A & T for inviting me into your home and also to M for being such a great help! It was truly a pleasure meeting all of you.
After a emailing back and forth with this couple for months, I finally got to meet them in person last week! They were completely down-to-earth and just really fun people to hang around with. After our session, I came home with a deeper appreciation for that special connection we call Love. I can hardly wait for September when Eric and I will be shooting their wedding! Thank you Jesse & Ashley for the fun session!
Perhaps some of you will remember this little peanut from her newborn session (those who don’t can refresh their memories by taking a look at the black and white photos in the header!). I can hardly believe she’s 3 months old already… She was so sweet throughout the entire session and I had such a wonderful time. I truly have the best job in the world!

This past weekend, Eric and I had the honor of shooting a wedding for Crystal & J-F. We encountered some rain on and off, but on the whole the day was a complete success! The setting for the ceremony and dinner was absolutely breathtaking and we didn’t have to go very far to capture some beautifully scenic photos! We were even lucky enough to catch an incredible rainbow! From what I’ve heard, rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck - and I must say… it makes for truly dramatic skies for portraits.

Patrick & Anne-Marie came to me in November about shooting their wedding. My husband can confirm that when I got home after our first meeting, I did a little happy dance. I’m not sure what I’ve done to deserve all of these gorgeous couples, but I certainly won’t look a gift horse in the mouth!
This couple was amazing to work with and so very obviously in love. When the groom dropped off the corsages at the girls’ preparation location, he also left a note for his soon-to-be wife. The very lady-like bride quietly read the note and left the rest of us to daydream about all of the wonderful things her amazing groom had to say. As you will see in the very first photo below, I was able to catch a glimpse of some of the hearts that adorned the bottom of the page… and that was enough to satisfy my curiosity.
As has become the “norm”, my husband Eric made his way over to where the boys were getting ready and had a lot of fun hanging out with them. The guys were basically up for anything and Eric made sure he took full advantage of it! We have been having such a great time shooting together that we are now offering 2 photographer packages as our standard!
Thankfully, the rain held off for us and we were able to capture some very special images for the couple outdoors. Thank you Patrick & Anne-Marie for taking a chance on those clouds! We hope you will agree that it was completely worth it!
The food was delicious and I have to say - this group definitely knows how to party! It was such an honor to have been there!
